Virgil Fitzpatrick General Nothing a good wrench can't fix, by the way.....when you get a heavy drag up in mountain and varying height locations, you can't ask for nothing better than a GE. Seen many a GE come to the rescue of SD units when they've failed. 4/6/2005 1:31:47 AM
Virgil Fitzpatrick General After doing some asking around and a few calls, the word is that this was no "Blown Turbo", but actually MAJOR Ignition trouble. This would make sense as a blown turbo would produce much more smoke and flame. A good Injector cleaning or replacement and this guy will be gone again. 4/7/2005 6:38:37 AM
Christopher Muller General The crew described the problem to mechanical as having three broken piston rods that stabbed something, causing straight fuel to burn. 4/7/2005 9:32:47 AM
